MEET KATIE MYERS:

Katie Myers is a playwright, audio producer, reporter, and misc. writer in the mountain South. She's developed work through the off-Broadway Primary Stages Echoes Writer's Group, the Tennessee Stage Company New Play Festival, the Gravitas Theatre Festival, the Tiger Lilly Night of Shorts, Cattywampus Puppet Council, and Tennessee Playwrights Studio. She has attended the Appalachian Writer’s Workshop, as well as residencies at Dear Butte and Sundress Academy for the Arts. Her work has appeared in Belt Magazine, NPR, and the New Republic, among others, as well as onstage in Nashville, New York, and Knoxville. She writes about memory, ghosts, wilderness, climate grief, small town politics, and talking animals who may or may not mean well.
